Can Hannover 96 perform under the Friday Night Lights?Recently promoted FC St. Pauli will travel to southern rivals Hannover 96 to play in front of their 49,000+ fans under the friday night lights of the Bundesliga. It has been an interesting season so far for both clubs. Hannover has displayed some dashing football both home and away, and as a result they currently sit in 3rd place on the table. FC St. Pauli currently sit mid-table in 10th place, mostly due to their road warrior nature. They boast a winning record on the road (2-1), but have yet to win at their own ground (0-2-1).
We've noticed a trend that FC St. Pauli has trouble with larger venues, and with recent news that the team has been in a bit of disarray on the training ground, especially after some teammate-on-teammate injury crime, we like Hannover 96 in this matchup. Even though one of the strikers in their partnership up front is missing, we took them straight up. 2-1, 3-1 to come for sure.
